It's the perfect base for bushwalking, fishing and just relaxing in Kosciuszko National Park near Tumut. The homestead and its surrounding cottages offer rustic accommodation and an experience of life in the high country 100 years ago.Currango is remote and an hour's drive from the nearest town. All food and drink must be brought in. Mobile phones do not operate. Currango is in a national park and all park laws apply. No pets, firearms or chainsaws permitted.Candles are not permitted due to fire danger.All flora, fauna, historic buildings and ruins are protected. All rubbish and recyclables are to be removed and responsibly disposed of outside the national park.
